What does this mean for Vicon's core business?

Anavio is another tool in our toolkits—not a replacement to Valerus. There’s minimal overlap in target applications, benefits and feature development.

As such, Valerus will remain a top priority for Vicon. We’re still investing heavily in the product and the engineering team with no plans to stop. Our NEXT cameras will serve both Anavio and Valerus. In short, please don’t hesitate to quote, sell and promote Valerus and VAX. They still play an important part in our ecosystem.

Can we sell Anavio outside the education market? Absolutely! We will sell into adjacent markets who can take advantage of the platform, but we will focus our feature development exclusively on the education market for now.

When will you have inventory? We will have initial inventory in early November, so we can begin shipping product then.

Is there a partner program?

We're finalizing the details of Anavio's partner program over the next several months as we mature the product. If our partners have an opportunity now that fits the above criteria, they should reach out to anavio@vicon-security.com or their regional sales manager. We'll make sure you and your customer are rewarded for becoming early adopters.

Does it integrate with other cameras or systems?

It does not integrate with any third-party cameras or services, including ONVIF. Our current priority is to deliver the best possible experience for our users, so integrations are not on the roadmap at this point.
